Meet Dr. Adriel Perez, DNP, A-APRN, FNP-C, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Adriel Perez, DNP, A-APRN, FNP-C is an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (A-APRN) and Certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in the management of acute and chronic conditions. Adriel earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2014 and graduated from the University of South Florida (USF) Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2019. His most recent accomplishment is graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from USF on May 2, 2024. The Doctor of Nursing Practice is the highest practice degree any nurse can achieve, preparing nurses with the highest level of scientific knowledge and practice expertise to ensure quality of care and positive patient outcomes. Adriel brings years of critical care experience as a RN and over 5 years of endocrinology experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During his time practicing in endocrinology, Adriel gained a vast amount of knowledge in treating chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, adenomas, obesity, and other endocrine disorders.
Adriel is a bilingual provider, offering care to his patients in both English and Spanish. His passion for diabetes and obesity care pushed him to open his own practice and bring his expertise to help Winter Springs/Oviedo, Florida. Adriel believes in treating all patients with respect and compassion. He not only cares for patients, but he cares about his patients. He understands that each patient presents with unique circumstances requiring different approaches to achieve the best possible outcome.
Adriel values each patient’s individual opinions and ideas when implementing a plan of care. He strives to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and have a positive impact in every patient’s life. When not taking care of patients, Adriel enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and his two young daughters, Lori Sue and Hope Ann. He also enjoys playing basketball and golf, listening to music, and woodworking.
